Get Total Amount of RAM in System

Random-access memory (RAM, also known as physical memory) is a volatile memory that holds instructions and data of currently running programs. A data is lost when the system is powered off. RAM is directly accessible by the CPU. There is no consistent API to get total amount of RAM installed in the system. Operating systems offers different methods to get this information.
